What's the Deal?
There are many free website deals out there on blogger.com and the like which are a great way of getting online. However - we believe the best way forward for any business is to have your own content hosted where it should be - and that is on your own domain name, on your own web host. That way, any lovely content that you put online gets credited to your website, and not credited to blogger.com.
The only costs involved at all here are £50 per year for the web hosting, this includes the cost of registering and purchasing your .co.uk domain name. Thereafter you will also be responsible for re-registering your domain name on an ongoing basis (.co.uk domains are about 2 or 3 pounds per year). Assuming you're not hosting lots of video and images, then you can host a fairly large website with these terms on an ongoing basis.
The website technology which will enable you to create and update your own content is free, open source (we will set up your own domain name - www.yourcompany.co.uk), and hosted on our servers. We will buy your domain, and register it in your name, set up the Wordpress blog for you with your own user name and login, then you're online!
Wordpress blog technology features many customisable templates and widgets you can download for free to tailor your free website the way you like. There is extensive online documentation and help forums that have active, social communities eager to support each other.
